Katrina Patrice Pitts is the CEO and owner of Key Tactix Consulting. Katrina always had a natural ability to excel in school subjects, particularly STEM classes, from her pre-K program through high school graduation. At an early age, she attended the Head Start program at Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute) prior to starting elementary school, which laid a solid foundation of responsibility, accountability, and technical ability. Throughout her school career, Katrina maintained scholastic excellence by attending magnet schools, holding leadership positions in extracurricular activities and testing into Advanced Placement (AP) classes as early as middle school. In addition to taking AP courses in high school, Katrina also participated in a pilot engineering program. Little did she know that all of these experiences were developing her career aspiration for technology.

Katrina holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Project Management. She also possesses a Project Management Certificate. Katrina prides herself on remaining knowledgeable and staying current on the latest technology trends. She currently holds six IT certifications within the latest and greatest Human Capital Management product called Workday. Katrina stays connected to her community by teaching/tutoring adolescent and adults in STEM subjects.

Katrina believes that the mantra Knowledge is Key plays an important factor in being successful. This was the basis for creating and naming her business venture Key Tactix Consulting.
